One of the many reasons that I love the city of Chicago is that they are always ready to help their neighbors. I am always told that my 911 service is the most reliable there is, and that I should be proud to call them in the event of an emergency. I have been impressed with the professionalism of some of the emergency dispatchers, but I have noticed an overall lack of communication throughout the system.
This is not really an area where I need to go into detail, because I could fill an entire article on what I consider to be the most annoying 911 tech maintenance issues I have seen. But I will say that I have been in a lot of emergency situations.
The new 911 tech grayslake is supposed to be a great improvement to the old one, but I thought that it was a little too much of a time sink to be worth it. Especially since it’s supposed to be a replacement for the existing system. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I think it’s worth mentioning that it has a whole lot of red tape to go through before it can be installed.
I think the one area where this system is a little bit too much is when you use the new 911 tech maintenance feature to add a new 911 tech to a 911 account. Now the old 911 tech maintenance feature has a separate, external, password-protected system. But I can see how this has some potential problems. For one, it really should be a password-protected system because it would be nice to be able to bypass the need for it by entering in the password.
But also, I think it’s important that the system be password protected. It’s a little bit like a password-protected bank, requiring you to get a PIN code to unlock the account. I understand this is a really new feature and it’s still being worked on and is not ready for prime time, but I think it’s worth trying before it’s too late.
This is a good point. A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about password-protected banks. Its a good idea to try it before it’s too late.
What do you think.
I think you’re over-thinking everything. I believe the password is something that’s worked for people before and will work for everyone. We’re just making sure everyone knows their PIN code.
Yeah I am just surprised that there will be many more banks and credit unions that accept the new system. I don’t know if it is a good idea for them to accept it though. The banking system is really confusing and confusing for consumers. I am sure most people would rather have a new password than a new bank.
Well, that is a question, really. We haven’t decided whether or not we will accept the new system. We know there are a lot of banks and credit unions around that would like to work with us, but they have not indicated what they would want to do with the new system. We are really hoping that a majority of them will accept the new system.
