Yes. There are more than a few opportunities to meet other librarys people. There’s even one that’s a lot of fun. We’re working on a plan to start a library-meets-podcast series where we interview people about their favorite libraries.
Yeah, a lot of libraries are really great and you can meet some really cool people. The one I’m currently working with is a great one called TechLibraryPodcasts. We started the podcast a year ago and have done a lot of interviews with people. It’s a great place to meet up with people, and we’re doing a new one called TechLibraryBits. We do interviews with people about their favorite libraries.
I’ve been meaning to start this project for a while now, and today, I started it with my friend and fellow librarian, Stacey. Stacey has a podcast called Stacey’s Library Talk, where she interviews people about their favorite libraries. She also runs a blog called the Library Geek, where she interviews people about their favorite libraries as well.
I first started talking to Stacey about the project after seeing a post on the Library Geek blog about her work. She had published a post on the Library Geek blog about her work as a librarian in a couple different libraries. It is definitely a fascinating subject for a librarian to be a part of.
Stacey’s blog is a great resource for people to read about her work, but I’m always struck by how much people are excited by the idea that a library can be a part of their personal, professional identity. I think it’s because they’re often so busy being a librarian or busy in their professional lives that they don’t have time to think about their library.
Georgia Tech Library is a great way to share what you love about your job or to get advice from someone who’s been there.
