I love running. I think it’s my favorite thing I do when I’m not doing anything else. I love going to the gym, I love meeting new people, I love trying all kinds of new things. I love the feeling of accomplishment after I run my first marathon. I love the idea of not being stuck in the same place for the rest of my life. I love the feeling of finally getting ahead of the competition.
Its not just running that I love, though. It’s just about everything to do with running—the challenge of getting fit, the feeling of feeling like I should be able to accomplish anything, the thrill of seeing progress made, the sense that no matter how much training you do, it still seems like you’re just getting fatter.
The adidas team has done a great job of creating a shoe that allows you to do all of these things. However, their latest offering really kicks things up a notch. The adidas Marathon is an innovative way for athletes to gain the advantage of being able to exercise in two separate ways. First, you can run in a traditional way and then do the same thing while performing a traditional heel strike. Second, you can perform the heel strike while running in a virtual reality setting.
The adidas Marathon is an excellent way to perform both kinds of exercises. A traditional running shoe is the most basic way to run, so it’s easiest to gain an advantage over your peers. Running in a virtual reality environment is a whole different ball game though. Virtual reality is more immersive than traditional walking, and you can use it to increase your running speed and/or stamina in ways that traditional running can’t.

As a result I think that we are seeing some of the technology that has been developed for the shoe really put into the shoe itself with the new technologies.
Technology isn’t the only thing that drives the shoe’s success, but I think that adidas has really upped the ante and it’s the tech that has made the shoe a really popular shoe. The Adidas Marathon is a tech sneaker, and the tech in the shoe is driving the shoe popularity.
