The more you know about your body, the more you’ll want to take control of it. I’m not talking about just exercising. As an athlete, I’ve come to realize that when I’m on an island, I spend a lot of time just looking at the ocean and thinking about how to get there.
Exactly! It was exactly this way for me when I used to live and train in Colorado. I would live in the mountains, training and sweating my ass off, and then go out for a hike in the mountains and go to sleep at the same time. Just by being in the mountains, you can control how hard or easy it is for your body to move.
This is precisely why I was so excited when I saw this new video from fitness tech ridge. The company’s CEO, Ben Brown, was talking about the differences that exercise makes in the body, and how you can really see this with just a few exercises. The video shows some of the many exercises that can help you get stronger and faster.
I think the video is really well done, and I love how Brown mentions that exercising is like eating a candy bar. You won’t get the full benefits of exercise if you don’t take it seriously enough, but those benefits are just as real as the candy bar. I am interested to see whether this will be a trend with the next generation of fitness tech.

I don’t think that this is the first exercise system we’ve seen that is based on a tracking app like this. The new trend is to use GPS as your primary tracker and then to use smart fitness apps like this as your secondary tracker. In this way, you can use this system to track your general movement, to monitor your activity, to adjust your workout based on your current progress, and of course to use the system to track your calories burned.
You can also use this system to track your overall fitness progress, or track your actual progress with a second app. For example, you can use this system to compare your progress to the standard “Ive never done this” line that your gym makes you do every time you go there. This system even has a built-in calorie counter that shows you what your average calories burn are.
The app is also incredibly useful for keeping track of your progress toward your goals. It will let you know if you’ve exceeded your goal, or you’re not getting enough, and you can adjust your workout based on your current progress. While there are no gym-specific workouts, there are plenty of workouts that can be adjusted based on your progress, and you can even check things off a list.
I was excited to take a look at the app, but then I remembered that there are many things that I do that I can’t even do on the treadmill. Sure, the app has an activity section, and it’ll let you adjust your workout based on current progress, but there are definitely plenty of things I can’t do on the treadmill and I don’t want to go through the process of downloading and installing an app just to find out my current calorie burn is less than my goal.
I love the app, but it doesn’t really change your life. It just takes you through a series of exercises that you can do on the treadmill. If you’re a competitive runner or a gym goer, that’s where you’ll want to go to the gym for your daily workouts.
