The Florida Tech Baseball team has always been one of our favorite teams because of the level of competition, the passion of the players, and the awesome atmosphere. During the Summer Ball season the team has a ton of fun and the fans are always up for a good game.

The season begins in July, but the schedule is always busy. The Tech baseball team has been training in Lake Mary, FL for around a year, but the first season they will play in Florida State University’s stadium on the campus in Gainesville, FL. The team can’t make it up there this year because it’s a women’s baseball season.

The Tech baseball team is a cross between the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays. The team consists of a solid core of college players and is led by the current head coach, Scott Thomas. The team also features a number of local players, but none were able to attend college this year.
