This is another one of those posts that you might find yourself missing on your reading list. The topic is gi tech, or the use of computers for technology. I am here to tell you that this topic is so much more than a new technology for the tech savvy. It is a way of life that we all have to take seriously.

I’d like to tell you that gi tech is a very cool thing, but I’m not sure if that’s really realistic. Some of the things you hear about this topic are just plain dumb. You have to realize that gi tech has been around for at least 30 years. Back in the 1970s, the CIA actually thought that it was a good idea to have a person who you could talk to over a long distance phone using a teletype machine.

To put this into perspective, it is considered that the first teletype machines were actually used by the CIA to send covert messages to the White House. So it is not that far-fetched to think that there might have one or more such machines installed in the United States, and that by doing so they could send messages to the White House.

The CIA has been trying to put such a machine in use on a small scale, and in 1977 they actually had a test run of a prototype. The idea was that the main goal of the test was to see if the machine would be able to send and receive signals through a phone, and if so, that it would be able to send and receive signals across a long distance.

It was a failure, because it just wasn’t possible to receive and send signals long enough to send a message overseas. Imagine if you could send and receive signals at the speed of light from a regular phone.
