You’re probably wondering why January is called the Year of the Dog. And then you’re probably wondering why I didn’t put a “dog” in there. And then you probably don’t really know why I put it in there. But here goes. January is the Dog Year because one in every six people in the United States and roughly two percent of the world population is a dog lover.
This has all been in the news lately, but here’s a quick review: People have been putting out a ton of dog related content in their websites, and its all been doing pretty well. According to the most recent Google Analytics data, Dog Content in Google AdWords received a whopping 4.27 billion impressions in the first two weeks of 2012.
And that’s with the dog being in the same city as the person trying to break into their home. For example, it’s reported that a woman in Arizona had her dog in her home when she was in a police car. She was apparently trying to break into her home by using the dog as a way to get in. This doesn’t seem like a great idea, but at least she had the chance to get her dog out.
This new Google analytics data is pretty interesting. First of all, its interesting to see that the number of impressions of dog content in Google adwords that were received by people trying to break into someone else’s home jumped from 2.72 billion impressions in the first two weeks of 2012 to 4.27 billion impressions, a 1,099.6% increase.

This is a good example of the “dog adwords are good for dog” effect that Google has been experiencing. Dog (as well as dog food) is one of the main categories of search results that Google considers when deciding what adwords to show you. This is important because we are now seeing more and more people using dog ads as a way to try to sell their dogs on dog food. We’re seeing dog ads for dogs for dogs for dogs.
Google’s dog ads are a big thing because they represent a large segment of the Google search results. As you can see in the graph below, over the past few years the number of dog ads has increased dramatically. It’s easy to see why these dog ads would be so popular. The dog is a very popular breed to have a dog, since it has a large number of different traits and a very appealing look.
Dog Ads are one of the most popular types of ads. There are two reasons for that. The first is that these ads are so easy to spot. Google has a huge database of dog ads and the dog ads are a very easy way to find them. The second is that dogs are popular. In my opinion, dog ads are the perfect example of when a trend works because they are easy to spot and can bring a lot of traffic to your website.
