In the new year, you’ll hear talk about the most beautiful and challenging time of the year, the summer. Whether you’re building a new house or renovating old one, here is a question that will come up a lot.
Sure, summer might not be the best time to paint, but it’s a great time for a new home to be built. You don’t have to worry about getting a paint job, you can just go right ahead and paint your house.
This is true, but the painting season is actually the busiest time of the year. Between builders, contractors, vendors, and paint companies, the summer season can be a nightmare for homeowners. Painting is not only a hassle, painting is also a high-cost endeavor. To help you avoid painting your house in the Summer, here are some tips to help with painting your new home in the summer.
First, don’t paint your house in the Summer.
Painting in the summer is really not a good idea. Painting your house is especially bad because it is one of the most stressful times of the year. If you need to paint your house in the Summer, then you should take a trip to a local paint center. Most paint centers are open on Saturday mornings, so you can easily get your work done.
It might seem like an easy fix, but painting your home in the Summer is one of those things that can easily take your mind off the stress of the season. And there’s a good reason for this. Summer is when the sun shines on our skin instead of the concrete we live on. That means that the sunlight radiating through the windows is heating up your house, and that’s a very bad thing.
I’m sure there are other reasons too, but I’m going to keep it simple. Painting in the Summer is not a good idea. Not when you’re sweating up all of your paint in one day! The sun can also cause serious heat stress on your roof.
Painting a home in July/August is like stepping out of a warm swimming pool in the morning after getting a tan and then going back inside. It’s a bad idea. However, I do believe that the sun does have a role in our skin’s ability to self-repair. The human body is so tightly woven into its own ecosystem that the sun can be very beneficial to us.
The sun is a source of energy for our bodies and it is essential for our skin to have a healthy self-healing ability. Every year on average, we spend 30% of our time in the sun; and it is so important for us to be able to handle sun damage. This means that we need to be able to take care of our skin as best we can. And that means painting your home.
Before we took on the task of painting our new home, we did a little research about the types of paints we were going to be using. And while there are certainly brands out there that are better suited to painting homes, they are by no means all the best to use. Our very first choice was an oil based paint. But that simply wasn’t good enough because we were going to be painting a wall and the oil based paint will only spread. We ended up picking a water based paint.
