Thinking about suicide, or other people who have been suicidal, can make it easier for us to stop doing these negative things and thinking about them. When we feel bad about ourselves, we can then go back to thinking about them. And if we think about them some more, we can then feel sad. The same goes with negative behaviors. If we think about the behaviors, we can then stop doing them and think about them some more.
These positive thoughts and behaviors can be extremely powerful, and can be especially helpful to our recovery. We might not be able to stop doing negative things, but we can definitely stop thinking about them.
It’s not just a matter of focusing on the negative thoughts and behaviors, it’s also a matter of how we feel about them. We might not like the behaviors, but it’s important to know that we can still feel bad about them.
When we feel bad about something, we feel worse. The more we feel bad about something, the more we feel bad about it, and the more we feel bad about it, the more we feel bad about it.
