For example, if you like reading, try setting aside some time each day where you read without any distractions (no cell phone or TV). You’ll have fun and it will make those moments enjoyable again because they won’t feel so pressured.

  • You might want to consider seeking help if you’re having trouble coping. There are many paths and methods in which one can take care of their mental health whether that be going on a walk or checking out therapy for yourself. 

Remember not to judge what will work until you give it a try!

  • Keep in mind that the only person who can make you happy is yourself. You might not be able to control what happens around you, but it’s important to stay positive and try your best!
  • The best way to take care of your mental health is to be proactive. The more you stifle yourself, the harder it will be for anything positive to happen.
