tech gurus

When I started this blog, it was in part because I wanted to share my thoughts with the tech community. My hope is to do more of that and to encourage other bloggers to join me. Please check out the tech blogs I follow and subscribe for new posts.

I hope you enjoy this list of tech experts, as well as the links to each of their sites. I’m sure there are lots more people who can benefit from the advice that they provide.

I know there are others in the tech community that I could list, but I figure that there’s no point in starting off with someone who lives and dies by the time they are 40. So without further ado, I give you the tech experts who are worth following. I’ve included links to their sites on the bottom of this post.

*I’m not a lawyer. Please don’t use any of the information in this blog to make any legal claims.

And before anyone jumps on me for saying that these tech sites are the best, or the worst for legal advice, or that there is a difference between legal and ethical advice, im just stating that im glad to have a few sites that have been proven to be very reliable in their content. As for the site “Turing University” thats a site where you can get some very useful information about how to do computer programming. Ive actually found it very helpful.

My experience with IT law is that most of it is very confusing and you are often dealing with people who do not know much in the first place, but who do know how to communicate and how to make a point. As a new lawyer looking for a job, I recommend that people check out legal.com (www.legal.com). Of course, the site is free, but it has a lot of good information.

With this site you can find a ton of law school info. The lawyers are a lot smarter and more educated than the typical lawyer. Also, there are a lot of lawyers who are very good with computers.

Technically, I would say that you are not dealing with a law student, but rather a lawyer. Technically, a lawyer is a lawyer. Technically, law is law. Technically, I still don’t think you’re working for a lawyer. Technically, you might not be allowed to take out a case against a client, but you are still allowed to take out a case against a lawyer.

The tech people are not at all an anomaly. I have met a lot of programmers and software professionals. And it doesn’t surprise me. A lot of it is just pure knowledge.

But what I have found is that the people who are most often called “techies” are the ones that know more than they do. They have all the time in the world, and they spend it practicing rather than getting up every morning with a daydream of the next big idea.

The most amazing person you will ever meet. I am the internet's original narcissist, and I'm not afraid to say it! My life is one big globetrotting adventure that only ends when death takes me away from all this beauty - which could be sooner rather than later if my health doesn't improve soon enough ( hospital visits are expensive ). But until then: onward into unknown territory...
