I’ve always had a soft spot for Texas Tech and I’m really happy to be a part of the Austin community. I’ve noticed there is a growing tech community here and it’s one that I’m very excited to be a part of.
If you think Techytown is just a college town, think again. It’s Texas Tech’s official campus, one of the largest, and the only one that’s actually in the state of Texas. Techytown is also a very active tech community, with meetups, classes, and a lot of conferences and events coming along with it.
Ive been a long time fan of Techytown and its community, but it has been a while since I’ve seen it in action. Its really a great opportunity to meet new people and get involved in a ton of activities. Techytown Austin is a great place to make new friends, but also to meet people who are experienced in your field. If you are looking for a tech meetup, the Texas Tech Tech campus is the place to be. It is also the home of the Texas Tech Tech Student Chapter of the Tech-Curious Society.
The Tech-Curious Society (TCTS) is a small group of mostly sophomore-level students that are interested in any technology-related topic. The TCSS is an active group of members and volunteers who have a lot of fun. As it turns out, it is an important forum for tech-related discussions, so this is a great place to hang out.
Tech-Curious Society TCTS started in 1998 and has become one of the most active groups on the Tech campus. This is really the place to get a lot of tech information. Some of the members are even willing to do tech presentations at the local high schools so that they can spread the word of the latest and greatest technology-related hardware and software tools. This is a great group to have on your campus to meet new people and learn more about the world of technology.
