The Hermit Tarot was born out of a desire to understand the power of self-awareness. I have always been interested in tarot cards as a way to understand ourselves and our place in the world. I have always found that tarot cards are a great tool for exploring the thoughts and feelings that are most important in our lives. I love to use them to explore the human mind and how we can become better people through the use of our thoughts.
The idea behind the Tarot is that the cards represent our mind, and the meanings of the cards are determined by the cards’ positions on the card deck. By reversing the cards and using the cards instead of the deck, we can see the cards as they were before the card images were formed.
This is a technique that has gotten quite popular in the tarot community. The hermit tarot and the reverse hermit tarot are similar, but the reverse hermit tarot gives us a new way to look at the cards and can be used in just about any situation. The hermit tarot lets us see the cards as we would see them if we didn’t have to see the cards reversed.
In the card deck and the hermit tarot, there’s a trick to seeing the back of the cards. If you flip the cards upside down, then the cards are like they were before they were flipped. So the image on the card is a mirror image of the image on the back of the deck.
In our tarot deck, the cards are flipped upside down. The cards are now in the reverse order. We look at the cards and say “What’s on the back looks like a mirror image of what’s on the front”, so our brain says “There’s no way to see what’s on the back”.
Well that was rather straightforward, wasn’t it? The deck is the image. The cards are the picture. The back of the cards is the mirror image of the front.
Not that the deck needs any explanation. Every deck has its own meanings. Our decks are merely a visual representation of our cards. Each card is a picture of the card in the deck. So the same cards that we read from the deck, are now reversed. We look at our cards and say, “What on the back looks like a mirror image of whats on the front, so our brain says, “Theres no way to see whats on the back.
It’s a little weird how the cards would be reversed when the deck represents a representation of a person, but I’m not exactly sure why…
There is a lot of evidence to indicate that there is a lot of meaning in the tarot itself. It has been noted that the Tarot’s most powerful cards are reversed, that the cards are often a reflection of a person, and that it is a tool of divination. A card that represents death can be seen as the card of death itself.
One of the oldest known tarot cards is the hermit card. It has a long history but is most often thought of as the Devil card. The Devil card has a long history of being associated with a person, either as a demon, a figure of evil, or a figure of ignorance. There is even a story of a hermit deck being made from the cards and made into a tarot deck.
