I’ve been to both sites, and it is easy to see why both are extremely popular among tech and marketing students. With the exception of one of the teams at Temple, there was no doubt about which team was going to win the game. The final score was not even close. Georgia Tech’s site is a bit more geared towards college students and the “we” is the Georgia Tech University.
One team, Temple, was very popular among college students in the southern states. The other team, Georgia Tech, was a bit more college-centric. But it’s the way the teams played that is so interesting. Georgia Tech was very aggressive and had an excellent offensive line, but temple came out and attacked at their weaknesses quickly and created holes in the defense all the while scoring touchdowns.
The Temple offense is also pretty good, and I don’t think you can argue that they were any better than Georgia Tech. Temple was more defensive and aggressive, and Georgia Tech was more balanced. Georgia Tech had a very good special teams unit and Temple was very good at their offense. But Temple’s defense is better and Georgia Tech’s special teams are better. And Temple went back to the drawing board and got much better.
So if you’re wondering how Temple is any better than Georgia Tech, just watch the game and you’ll see. Both teams are great at their jobs, but Temple is a better team overall and Temple has a better offense.
