Sure, I’m talking about the tech industry. We can’t be on the lookout for opportunities in the tech industry, because that would be like being one of the people who just got laid off, because opportunity is opportunity, no matter what. But we can be aware of what opportunities we could be working on, and make the effort to look into them.
There’s been a bit of a debate in the community about if the tech industry has an advantage in terms of recruiting female talent, but we have to remember that there are lots of different ways for you to be in the tech industry. The same goes for the military, the military needs to be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of being an officer.

The military seeks to make a difference; they are constantly looking to improve the quality of the military.
