There are many areas within the state of North Carolina that are in the tech industry, so I have yet to see a city as well known for its tech culture as Charlotte. However, I did have the opportunity to interview the two co-founders of nc state, Jeff and Kim Tinsley, about their company’s vision for the state and their own path toward creating a more inclusive tech environment.
The story behind the co-founders of nc state is pretty inspirational and heartening. The duo originally wanted to start a non-profit in the area, but decided to take the leap and start a company instead. The goal of the company is to increase employment by creating opportunities for people with disabilities, and nc state is working to create an environment where individuals with disabilities can be successful.
Georgia tech is doing the exact opposite and is trying to create an environment of isolation from the internet. According to their website, they’ve created a “geofeeder” a way to make sure that the internet is accessible to everyone, and that’s not something that is really a priority. Their goal is simply to make sure that everyone has access to equal opportunities on the internet.
As for the nc state team, they do make it clear that they do not want to be a “disability organization”. They want to create a non-profit that is going to be a place where all people with disabilities can actually participate. Their intention is not to create a place where some people are “disadvantaged”. It is to create an equal opportunity for everyone and to be a place where everyone can participate.
But the georgia tech team is not so sure. They are not taking sides in the debate, but they also want to be able to use the internet to provide equal opportunities for everyone. They are also not taking sides in the debate, but they do want the georgia tech team to use the internet to provide equal opportunities for everyone.
Their argument is that everyone does not have the right to equal opportunity. This is something we see time and time again. The first thing that I want to discuss is what the georgia tech team means by “equal opportunity.” Basically, that means that it is the right of everyone to be treated equally. The second thing we have to discuss is how the team is arguing for this.
The argument revolves around how many sites should be allowed to access the georgia tech team’s database. In their defense, they’ve stated that if there is equal opportunity for everyone, why shouldn’t the georgia tech team be able to access their own database? But they also stated that a company can’t just “go after” another company’s database and charge them money for access.
Well, now that it’s been made clear that georgia tech is no longer just a tech company, the argument comes down to this: The georgia tech team has access to a lot of data, and a lot of data means that they can do a lot of things that a company cant. At the end of the day, it comes down to the issue of the public and the companies.
One of the things that the georgia tech team wants to do is to collect data on the public, and then sell that data to companies like Google (and possibly other companies) to sell online. If they can collect data on the public, they can probably get a lot of really good data on the public. It is true that they can probably get some of that data, but I dont think they can collect data on the public.
In my opinion, that is probably why they want to collect info on the public. Because if they can really get that data on the public, it may actually be even more valuable than the data they already have. But it also seems like they want to sell it to other companies to sell online.
