It all started on a Saturday morning. I was watching a bunch of friends play golf and I decided that I wanted to go to a certain country club. I had never been to a country club, but I had always thought that golf course was a good place to play golf. I figured that I would find a golf course somewhere and then go there.
I decided to go to our favorite golf course. It was the golf course where I’d gone to middle school with my best friend and where my mom had always liked to go with me. It was a nice course, and it was also on a lake. The lake was really deep and I used to go there on weekends because it was easy to find a golf course around there.
Now that I think about it, that lake is the same one that’s in the game Deathloop. It’s just in the game for a different purpose.
Well, the game is set in a real-world setting, which means its a pretty realistic representation of what a real course would look like. But the lake in the game is something the developers wanted you to have to dive into, so it comes at a price. The same way that the game’s settings are realistic, the game’s physics are realistic.
So we jump into a lake that’s in the game, and the physics don’t seem to be very realistic. They feel kind of cartoonish. The only real reason for me to go to the lake is for the game to have some sort of a splashdown. And you’re supposed to be dunking your head into it.
This is the first game in which you are not submerged in the water. And the water is never exactly flat. And the physics will cause your head to float off if you stop swimming in the middle of the lake. So you have to get over that first hurdle.
Yes! We’re going to get over that hurdle! As this is the first game to do it, I’m pretty sure we’re going to end up with a really fun time-loop situation too.
Yes, the game is going to end up a time loop of sorts, but the water isn’t actually flat. It’s sort of like the ocean, but instead of salt water and sand, it’s actually a giant floating ball of water. The physics will make your head float off if you keep swimming into the middle of the lake, so you have to get over that first hurdle.
The game is also going to have a mechanic called “veto” that lets you veto objects from the game. The veto system works a bit like the veto cards you use in card games. To veto an object, you must check a box saying that the object is the best match for a character in the game. For example, if you have a character like “Loki” you might check the box “Loki is best”.
